Our Story

Durkha is a small, dog-loving, family-owned business based in Kent, WA.
Our chews are made using an ancient Himalayan recipe of Yak and/or Cow milk that is dried and hardened to form a delicious cheese snack for dogs. They are 100% natural, long lasting, non-staining, odorless and grain & gluten free! There is no better alternative to rawhide.

According to the most comprehensive genetic surveys to date, the origin of dogs have been traced back to central Asia, possibly present day Mongolia or Nepal. We are not sure if it is coincidental that man’s best friend and our delicious cheese treats happen to originate from the same part of the world.

Our goal is to provide natural and healthy treats focusing in (QPS): highest Quality, competitive Price, and excellent Service. This makes it a win-win for all — local farmers in Nepal to dog owners in the USA, and everywhere in between.
